A: I’m going to guess this is a wolf or dog mask from Mexico. I’m not sure. Perhaps someone else will have a different idea. Also, on one of the three photos you sent I see that the inside is painted or stained black. This usually indicates it was made for the tourist trade. Dancers have no reason to want the rear of a wood mask coated. (They will occasionally use cloth or foam rubber, but rarely change the color.) C
